Moving Day!

My work day started at 7am this morning. I just got home. It's 10pm. I started this morning by getting up at 6am, way earlier than I'm used to. We had a Functional Equipment Meeting at 7am at Rooster Cafe where I carefully zoned my meal and even brought my own almond milk in my purse for my coffee. We picked up the U-haul at 9am to begin the big gym relocation. I spent most of the day loading, unloading and driving the U-haul back and forth between the new gym location and the current/old gym. I did the group class at 4pm:

Push Press- 10 @ 50% of 1RM (53#) and then 4x8 @ 60% (63#) followed by,

12 Pull-ups

My score was 14:19. Not great, but not bad. I was ok with it. I'm not a quick runner, but started out middle to head of the pack, did all of my KB swings unbroken and then did pullups Rx. Unfortunately I'm not very good at stringing my pullups together so I was doing them one at a time, jumping down off the bar after almost every one.

I coached Onboarding at 6pm, ran home to cook Chris and I some dinner, brought it back to the gym and then we did a little bit more work on the move. More details to come about the move in another post.

Today's Food:
7:30am @ Rooster Cafe- A scramble with 2 eggs, 1 oz. meat, 1 Tbsp. avocado, 1 Tbsp. shredded cheese and coffee (with 1/4 cup max almond milk). I had leftovers, enough for another meal, but they sat in the car for too long and I had to throw it away. Sad.
11:30am 3oz ground beef, 1/3 cup black beans, 4 stalks celery, 1/4 cup hummus, 1 tsp. peanut butter
5:00pm Post workout protein shake
8:00pm 3 oz. chicken with 1 cup green beans, 1/4 cup onion, 1/4 cup mushrooms, 1 tsp. butter.
10:30pm 3 oz. ground turkey, 1 tsp. sunflower seed butter and 1/2 cup almond milk.

  1. good job on Helen! I think that's not a bad time at all... especially for a running hater ;) cool to think that next time will be faster!!
