Today at 2:30 we did an all coaches workout/wod demo for the mainsite (crossfit.com). We had 6 racks set up and we rotated through a 7x1 push jerk. It was really fun to workout together as one big group. I got a personal record (PR) of 124#, just barely missing 129#(my best rack jerk). I think almost everyone else got a PR, too. I know for sure that all of the girls did. Linds beat me by 2#. Dang, why didn't I think to add 1# plates when I missed 129! I know I could have gotten 126# if I had tried. Oh well, next time.
I coached onboarding at 6 and here I am, actually home before 9pm! I just ate dinner, we're going to sit down and watch an episode of Dexter while Chris continues to work (on the computer) :( and then early to bed. Hopefully we can sleep in a little bit tomorrow. Hopefully!
Today's Food:
9am- 2 eggs (150), 1 laughing cow cheese wedge (35, light, because that's all Trader Joe's had) , 2 tsp. almond butter (66), coffee with 1/3 cup almond milk (13). Breakfast total calories=299
1pm- "The" salad from Beach Pit BBQ approx. 4 oz. pulled pork (approx. 250), lettuce, negligible amounts of tomato, black beans, corn, jicama and oil/vinegar dressing (so maybe another 100), and 4 thin slices of avocado (approx. 66). Lunch total calories=approx. 416
5:30pm- very late post workout shake= 110 calories
8:00pm- 3 oz. ground turkey (120), 1 small sweet potato (103), 2 tsp. peanut butter (66), 2 Tbsp. hummus (50), 2 stalks celery (17), 1/2 cup almond milk (20) Dinner total calories=376
Total Calories for the day=1,201 (I may have another meal/snack before I go to bed tonight, not to exceed 200 calories)
Good day overall, but I'm exhausted.
you totally could have got 126#! but you'll have 130# next time fo shizzle! :)
